Adopt Rocco
Rocco is a 7 year old neutered male being fostered in Ohio by USKBTC member and KBTC of Greater Pittsburgh President, Gretchen Quinn.
He was reluctantly surrendered to Rescue because his owners felt they could not properly supervise him with their three very young children. He is a big, gorgeous Kerry Blue that any breeder would be proud to have produced. Unfortunately, his breeder feels that rehoming Rocco is not her responsibility; however, the owner of Rocco's sire is assisting. Rocco is a loving, well-behaved boy who gets along with other dogs and should do well in a home with another dog or other pets. An ideal family for him would be adults-only, or one with older children, capable of providing him with the exercise, attention, and consistent boundaries every Kerry needs. He does bark at people going by outside and unusual noises, which makes him an excellent watch dog, but a poor prospect for apartment living!
If you are interested in learning more about Rocco, contact Gretchen Quinn at (614) 870-0580; e-mail quinnkerry@columbus.rr.com.
Copies of the USKBTC adoption application and adoption agreement can be found on the USKBTC website. Submitting a USKBTC adoption application is free; however when you adopt a Kerry, we request a cash donation (based on age and adoptability) to offset the dog's expenses while in foster care. Keep in mind that we normally will not ship dogs, and priority is given to potential adopters who live within driving distance of where the dog is fostered.
