ADOPTED - NO LONGER AVAILABLE as of 3/18/09
Maggie, an 8 month old Kerry Blue Terrier puppy, is being fostered by a Club member in North Carolina. She was purchased from an Arkansas breeder through the Internet as a gift for an elderly woman, who absolutely adored Maggie, but could not deal with this rambunctious little terrier girl.

Maggie is spayed, current on vaccinations, and healthy. She is on the small side, and currently weighs just 23 lbs. She's only been in her foster home for a couple of days, which is not enough time to thoroughly evaluate her temperament, but so far she appears to be a typical young Kerry, who would probably do well with a family that is able to provide her with the exercise and training she needs. She enjoys playing with the other Kerries in her foster home, and would probably do well in a home with a male dog.

Maggie should be available for adoption towards the end of the month. If you would like further information on Maggie, or are interested in adopting her, please contact me privately. Homes in the southeastern US, within driving distance of where Maggie is being fostered in North Carolina will be given primary consideration. A donation to Charitable Funds to cover her expenses during fostering will be requested when she is adopted.
